Job Description: Regional Sales Manager

Location: High Wycombe, London, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent, on company payroll)

Experience Required: 10–15 years

Travel Requirement: Up to 75% across Europe

The base salary range for this position is £90,000 - £110,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive enterprise sales growth across the European market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, technology sales, enterprise applications, and SaaS solutions, with proven experience selling large digital transformation programs. This role requires a high-performing sales hunter capable of generating new business opportunities, closing large enterprise deals, and building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Regional Manager – Europe and work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Centers of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe within targeted industries.
* Generate $1M+ annual revenue from new client acquisitions (new logos).
* Lead and close large enterprise deals valued at $5M+ including multi-service engagements.
* Manage the entire sales lifecycle including market analysis, prospecting, lead qualification, proposal development, and deal closure.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders (VP level and above) within client organizations.
* Position and sell Digital Transformation solutions including Application Development and Maintenance, Managed Network and Application Services, Enterprise Application Implementation, and Data Engineering and Migration.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
* Work closely with Marketing, Product teams, and Centers of Excellence to support lead generation and solution development.
* Collaborate with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure successful solution positioning.
* Contribute to sales strategy and market expansion initiatives across Europe.

Target Markets & Industries

The primary focus will be on mid-market enterprises within the following sectors:

* Communication Service Providers (CSPs)
* Travel & Hospitality
* Retail
* Networking OEMs

Sales Environment

* European Sales Team: 5 members (3 in the UK and 2 in India)
* Reporting Line: Regional Manager – Europe
* Organizational Structure: Flat hierarchy
* Initial Role: Individual contributor with own sales quota
* Future Growth: Potential to supervise additional sales team members based on performance

Deal Profile & Sales Cycle

* Typical new deal size: $2M – $4M
* Large enterprise deals: $5M+
* Sales cycle for large deals: 6–8 months
* Sales cycle for smaller deals: 3–6 months

Required Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (mandatory)
* MBA is considered an advantage but not mandatory

Professional Experience:

* 10–15 years of experience in enterprise technology sales
* Proven success in telecom, SaaS, enterprise applications, or technology services sales
* Strong experience selling Digital Transformation solutions
* Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise deals
* Experience selling within European markets

Required Skills & Competencies

* Strong enterprise sales and negotiation skills
* Deep understanding of modern networking and enterprise applications
* Knowledge of digital transformation, application lifecycle services, and managed services
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
* Strong relationship-building abilities with senior executives

Travel Requirements

This role requires extensive business travel across Europe, with expected travel of up to 75%.
