About the Role
Our Senior Surveyors are vital to our business, leading project teams or clusters of packages with full responsibility for developing and implementing pre- and post-contract strategies, managing commercial functions, and contract reporting. They work collaboratively with clients and industry specialists, focusing on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practices.
As a Senior Surveyor, you will:
1. Manage the project commercial team, ensuring all Wates main contract obligations and process requirements are met, including procurement, subcontractor management, supply chain management, measurements and valuations, contractual notices, and change valuation.
2. Complete and submit monthly cost reports, procurement strategy updates, and progress reports, while developing and implementing tender strategies.
3. Agree on external valuations to maintain positive cash flow and produce final accounts for main contracts and subcontracts.
