Dental Practice Manager, Croxteth, Merseyside.

Hours: Full-time or Part-time (to be discussed at interview)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Practice Type: Mixed & Private, 8-surgery practice with growth plans

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Dental Practice Manager to lead and develop our growing dental practice in Liverpool. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager to play a key role in driving business growth, enhancing private and specialist services, and supporting the long-term expansion of the practices.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership, operational excellence, and commercial awareness, with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

The Role

Reporting to the Principal Dentist, you will oversee the operational, financial, governance, facilities, technology, and people management of both practices. You will act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance while also driving sales performance, private growth, and patient experience.

You will be responsible for supporting the development of private and specialist services, including (where applicable):

1. Implants, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Aligners/Orthodontics

You will also ensure the effective delivery of any NHS contract activity using a mixed skill set of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Operations

2. Oversee day-to-day operations across both sites

3. Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing clinical and non-clinical teams.

4. Manage recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals, and performance

5. Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performance team culture

Commercial Growth & Business Development

6. Drive top-line sales, private revenue, and profit growth

7. Develop and implement strategies to increase treatment uptake and patient retention

8. Support treatment coordination and patient finance discussions

9. Build strong referral relationships with specialist dentists and partners

10. Monitor KPIs, chair utilisation, and financial performance

Marketing & Brand Development

11. Develop and manage the practice’s social media presence and online marketing strategy.y

12. Support review management, local outreach, and brand building

13. Promote private and specialist services to expand the patient base

Compliance, Governance & Regulation

14. Act as CQC Registered Manager and ensure inspection readiness

15. Maintain compliance with CQC, GDPR, infection control, safeguarding, radiography, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Health & Safety

16. Oversee audits, policies, and governance frameworks

17. Manage patient complaints, feedback, and service improvement initiatives

Financial & Operational Management

18. Support budgeting, cost control, supplier negotiations, and stock management.

19. Oversee diary optimisation and workflow efficiency

20. Ensure effective use of dental software, CRM systems, and IT platforms

About You

Essential

21. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a senior dental practice management role

22. Proven track record of sales growth, profit improvement, and performance management

23. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills

24. Comprehensive knowledge of CQC compliance, governance, and GDPR

25. Commercial mindset with a passion for growth and service excellence

26. Confident using dental software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office

Desirable

27. Level 4+ qualification in Dental Practice Management or Leadership

28. GDC-registered clinician background

29. Experience in treatment coordination and private case conversion

30. Familiarity with CBCT scanners and intra-oral scanners

31. Experience managing multi-site practices
