A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). Working within mental health services contributing towards shaping the future of mental health services.

Reporting operationally to the Head of Complex and Critical Care services, we are looking for a dynamic, inventive, collaborative and courageous Manager to join our team. It is an exciting time to join the management team, as we are commence a significant programme of change and transformation. Fife's Health and Social Care Partnership is one of the largest in Scotland with around 5,000 staff. The HSCP goal is for the people of Fife to achieve their full potential through:

 Receiving the information, support and care they need, efficiently and effectively, at the right time and in the right place.

You will lead the Mental Health and Learning Disability Service. The Mental Health Service has a staff allocation of 817 WTE with a Budget of 39.7M. The Learning Disability staff allocation is 175 WTE with an 8.4M budget.

This is a very challenging but highly rewarding position which will require the successful candidate to have outstanding strategy, leadership and influencing skills. Key to the role is the ability to influence and contribute to the development of services ensuring that they remain fit for purpose against a backdrop of rising public expectation, a requirement for increased quality of services and clinical standards, competing priorities for service change and development, and the need to modernise the service with individuals and their families at the centre of all that is progressed.

You will hold a relevant professional qualification and registration with appropriate body with extensive managerial experience at a senior level in a public/private sector environment.

As a member of the Complex and Critical Care Senior Management Team you will be expected to fully contribute to and participate in the corporate management and governance arrangements within the portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Service, the post holds a high level of autonomy with delegated authority and responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Mental Health & Learning Disability Service and the implementation of national, H&SCP and NHS Fife policies, directives and objectives.

The post is based at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline or Stratheden Hospital, Cupar.
