Corporate Tax Manager

About the Role
A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking experienced Corporate Tax Managers to join its growing Tax Consultancy team. You will play a key role in managing complex corporate tax work, supporting junior colleagues, and delivering high-quality consultancy services. This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional ready to take the next step in their career within a people-focused, values-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review detailed and complex corporate tax computations prepared by junior colleagues
2. Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members at varying levels
3. Monitor workflow, recoveries, and billing for your portfolio of clients
4. Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services
5. Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
6. Participate in recruitment processes, including annual graduate intakes
7. Line management responsibilities for Tax Seniors and/or Trainees
Candidate Requirements
8. CTA qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory work
9. Full UK driving licence (essential)
10. Experience with Alphatax software (desirable but not essential)
11. Strong client relationship and communication skills (written and verbal)
12. A collaborative team player who can contribute across multiple teams and offices
13. Ability to lead tax training and support staff development
