People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Skilled Engineer – Injection Moulding to join our well-established client, based in Knowsley, Liverpool, on a full-time permanent basis.

Skilled Engineer – Injection Moulding
Location: Knowsley, Liverpool
Training:

Hours of Work
Full-time, Monday to Friday (standard shift patterns), with occasional overtime as required to meet production demands. 8am – 4pm
Competitive salary ranging between £30,000 and £45,000 per annum depending on experience and skills

Day to Day Duties
* Operate, set up, and maintain injection moulding machines and related equipment
* Adjust and optimize processes to meet production targets and maintain high quality
* Troubleshoot moulding defects and machinery issues to minimize downtime
* Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machines and tooling
* Collaborate with design and production teams to improve mould design and manufacturing efficiency
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
* Accurately document process parameters, production data, and maintenance activities
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing
* Proven experience as an injection moulding engineer or technician in a manufacturing setting
* Strong understanding of injection moulding techniques, tooling, and process control
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and mould specifications
* Mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to injection moulding operations
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience with process improvement methodologies and quality control procedures
* Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
