The opportunity: The role involves working at height and installing Anchor points, Horizontal and vertical lifeline systems, rail systems and fast fit access systems. These are installed on buildings to ensure safety for maintenance, construction, or inspection of buildings. Tasks /outline Working with a team and in pairs on a roof supporting each other when installing Documenting finished work and videoing finished installs (Tech savvy) Follow health and safety measures to keep yourself and others safe You will be required to travel to Auckland and other areas some weeks for installs (always back for weekends) Drive company vehicles to site and be able to back a trailer safely Ability to use tools and be willing to learn processes Communication is important In this role, you will need to have good people skills and be able to work well with others. Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (when in CHCH) longer hours required when away starting rate is $26- more if experienced in the same or related industry. Once trained/ticketed this rate will increase. Day away allowance The skills: To be successful in this role you will require skills and core competencies in Physically fit Responsible Computer skills is a must Previous at heights work feel comfortable working at heights Site safe/EWP tickets are advantageous.
