About the role:
Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers. As the largest Co-operative Pharmacy group, our pharmacies offer much more than just exceptional customer service! From prescriptions and flu vaccines to podiatry, we’re passionate about looking after the health needs of our patients.
As a Pharmacy Services Assistant, you’ll join an enthusiastic and hardworking team dedicated to making a positive difference in patients' lives. Your duties will include:
1. Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services through engaging conversations, ensuring customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Keeping the shop floor stocked through accepting deliveries and completing stock takes.
3. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting prescription collection to ensure the safe supply of medicines.
4. Assisting with sales and store duties, including creating product displays and processing transactions.
About You:

* An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients.
* Enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, with eagerness to learn new challenges.
* A methodical, accurate approach to tasks, using initiative and teamwork.
* Experience in retail and using stock control systems is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
It is essential that you already hold a Level 2 Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Advisor, or Dispensing Assistant qualification.
