Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage highways maintenance and improvement programmes
* Oversee reactive and planned works, including inspections, repairs, and resurfacing
* Ensure compliance with highways legislation, health & safety standards, and best practice
* Manage contractors and in-house teams to deliver high-quality services
* Monitor budgets, performance, and service delivery targets
* Develop and implement highways asset management strategies
* Respond to enquiries from stakeholders, members, and the public
* Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer service
