Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our infrastructure team based in Uddingston.
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects up to £10M across the central belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all works in accordance with our standard operating procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
* Ensure all works comply with contract specifications and drawings.
* Prepare labour plans and maintain accurate labour trackers.
* Review, verify, and manage specialist contractors in line with contract documentation.
* Attend regular client approval meetings.
* Coordinate with the wider MEP team and site supervisors to ensure projects stay on track, updating programs and weekly reports for clients and subcontractors.
* Manage projects from initial coordination to completion and final sign-off after EoYD.
* Ensure all RAMS are appropriate and sufficient for the scope of work.
* Maintain technical and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets and contribute to monthly reports.
* Coordinate procurement and resource planning as per contract requirements.
* Maintain accurate records accessible for review.
* Ensure successful project completion and formal handover as per client requirements.
* Create and update work programs, providing weekly progress reports with percentage completion.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
* Effective planning and organizational skills to adapt to changing environments.
* Successful track record in delivering electrical and mechanical services projects.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices.
* Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; basic skills in Microsoft Project or ASTA.
Specific Qualifications
* Electrical qualification as an Electrician at minimum.
* SMST or equivalent qualification.
