Experienced Director of Data and Digital Delivery required for a national charity on a permanent basis. The organisation is undertaking an ambitious digital and data transformation to modernise its technology estate and strengthen impact for beneficiaries and colleagues.
Your new role
As the Director of Data and Digital Delivery, you will lead the digital, data and innovation strategy. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will shape future‑ready operating models, modern digital platforms and robust enterprise will oversee Solutions Architecture, Data Architecture and the DMO/PMO, ensuring all programmes align to the Technology Roadmap. You will drive the adoption of automation, AI and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric to embed data‑driven decision‑making. This is a strategic, collaborative leadership role working closely with IT Operations, Cyber Security, Change and external partners, with responsibility for the full digital innovation lifecycle—from discovery to delivery.
Key Duties
1. Lead the digital transformation and innovation portfolio.
2. Oversee Solutions Architecture, Data Architecture and the DMO/PMO.
3. Develop data platforms,ernance and the organisation’s data programme.
4. Drive automation, AI and integration opportunities.
5. Ensure secure, scalable enterprise architecture and strong technical assurance.
6. Produce Power BI reporting for senior stakeholders.
7. Lead business cases, ROI analysis and supportmercial bids.
8. Manage budgets and optimise digital investments.
9. Lead, support and develop high‑performing digital and data teams.
What you'll need to succeed
10. Extensive experience delivering digital transformation and enterprise architecture.
11. Strong technical expertise across Azure, data engineering, warehousing and cloud platforms.
12. Experience leading PMO/DMO functions and development/low‑code teams.
13. Fabric would be highly desireable
14. Excellent stakeholder engagement across operational and corporate environments.
15. Strategic leadership capability with strongmunication skills.
16. Proven ability to manage budgets and develop business cases.
