A respected and forward-thinking law firm based in London is looking to expand its property team with the addition of a Chinese-speaking Conveyancing Paralegal. Role Overview:You will assist on a broad range of residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold purchases, sales, new builds, Help to Buy, and shared ownership. You’ll manage your caseload under supervision, with the chance to grow your responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a caseload of conveyancing files under supervision
* Draft legal documents, letters, and contracts tailored to client needs
* Meet with clients, take instructions, and provide practical legal advice
* Keep clients updated throughout the transaction process
* Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulatory standards
* Stay informed on legal developments relevant to property law
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial and/or residential conveyancing
* Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese (essential)
* Strong understanding of the full conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
* A commercial mindset and a proactive approach to client service
