A well-established independent secondary school in the Tewkesbury area is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join their team from September on a temporary basis. The school is open to a job share, so both part-time and full-time applications are welcome.
The role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons. The school offers a supportive working environment, excellent facilities, and a strong commitment to both academic achievement and pastoral care.

Responsibilities:
•Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
•Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
•Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
•Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
•Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
•Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
•Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to the Science department.
Requirements:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
•Experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
•Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods for science.
•Excellent communication and organisational skills.
•Ability to inspire and motivate students.
•Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
