Altus Group have an opportunity for a Field-Sales Consultant to join our Expert Services Sales team, covering the Yorkshire and North East region. Working within commercial real estate industry, you will be tasked with attending pre-qualified appointments to meet with potential clients (either in person or virtually) to discuss their Business Rates expenditure and how Altus Group can assist them in reducing this. You will also cross-sell any other relevant products or services beneficial to the client that Altus Group provide.
While this is a field-based role there will be some home working as required (administration etc) and you will be required to attend the Manchester office on an ad-hoc basis to meet with the Sales Leadership team and for various team events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional sales performance against agreed targets
* Attend pre-qualified appointments, meet business decision makers and influencers and close sales for occupied ratings business
* Achieve target conversion ratio (SQLs to Clients)
* Deliver informative and consultative advice to clients
* Identify cross selling opportunities and sell additional Altus Group services to clients
* When appropriate self-generate opportunities across existing client portfolios
* Ensure the accurate completion of all contract paperwork and facilitate client onboarding to the Government Gateway
* Track and follow up with clients on unclosed business
Key Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a field-based sales role is essential
* All industries will be considered
* Software: MS Office & Salesforce
* Communication and influencing skills
* Relationship-building ability
* Customer service and client management skills
* Proven record of successful negotiations
