We now have a fantastic opportunity for a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver with trailer towing to support our Service Centre operations, helping us to deliver our promise of quality products and services on time, every time for our customers.
Every day brings something new - travelling to different locations, meeting customers, delivering and collecting a wide range of plant hire equipment - from excavators and telehandlers to generators and scissor lifts - to name just a few. Youll also demonstrate how to operate the equipment, so well ensure that you have the training and skills needed to carry this out in a professional and safe manner. The personal qualities youll bring are as important to us as your skills and experience. Youll be the face of Sunbelt Rentals, the first person that most of our customers will see, so well expect you to be a great brand ambassador. Friendly and helpful, youll be the kind of person who goes out of their way to help their team-mates and customers.
From day one our focus will be on your training and development, a key part of which will be attending our company induction and Sunbelt Driver Training course. Your manager will work with you to identify your personal development needs and career progression plan, including opportunities to gain new qualifications. Were committed to developing our team-mates and promoting internally wherever possible.
Responsibilities
* Be a fully competent driver with licence category B, preferably with a clean driving licence (no more than six points).
* Operate trailer towing and hold entitlement; experience preferred.
* Licence category E with Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card would be desirable (training may be available).
* Represent Sunbelt Rentals in a positive manner with excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Be a flexible and adaptable team player with good organisation and attention to detail.
* Comply with Health & Safety legislation and Sunbelt Rentals health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
