Overview
Quality Engineering - Placement Year (12 Month Placement) – July 2026. Location: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, West Sussex, United Kingdom. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is part of the BMW Group and sits at Goodwood in West Sussex.
What to expect
As a student on the placement, you will gain hands-on experience from day one and contribute to practical quality-related activities within a world-class automotive manufacturer. You will be supported by experts and mentors who encourage you to bring your ideas to the table and take tasks from concept to implementation.
Responsibilities
* Support, coordination and management of specific daily tasks and longer-term projects.
* Assist with the Plant problem management process and coordination of new model topics.
* Support the implementation of quality-related processes to ensure product improvement.
* Assist with quality improvements through analysis and implementation.
* Support new vehicle inspection and defect reporting.
Qualifications and requirements
* External studying a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a relevant Engineering course.
* Knowledge in Quality Management or similar is advantageous but not required.
* Ability to work independently and within a team; use initiative to take tasks from concept to a complete and implemented solution.
