Overview

Specialist Children’s Services Nurse – Home / ASL School - Mainstream Nurse Training Team (Disability Pathway) - NHS Scotland

We are recruiting for a Band 6 Community Children’s Nurse within Specialist Children Services. This is a permanent post, 28 hours per week, term time. Days and times can be negotiated.


Responsibilities

* Deliver community children’s nursing care to pupils in Additional Support for Learning (ASL) schools, in partnership with the Mainstream Nurse Training Team (Disability Pathway).
* Support and contribute to the development of skilled practice within the team and across school settings.
* Work Monday to Friday during term time, with the potential for flexible scheduling as negotiated.


Qualifications

* Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Driving Licence (this is a Community Post).
* Experience in children’s services, school health, or community health settings is desirable.
