The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this position offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
* Managing a range of Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and ongoing administration
* Acting for vulnerable clients and advising on financial management, care arrangements, and capacity issues
* Handling high-value cases, often involving clients with serious injuries or complex needs
* Liaising with families, case managers, medical professionals, and other third parties
* Preparing applications, reports, and correspondence for the Court of Protection
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members
* Supporting the wider private client or clinical negligence teams where appropriate

About You
* Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Court of Protection work
* Excellent understanding of mental capacity law and related procedures
* Confident managing complex cases independently
