Job Title: Controls System Maintenance Engineer

Our client are looking for a Controls System Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leamington Spa. As a Controls System Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing plant manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant manufacturing equipment
* Program, test, and debug PLC control systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues on electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems
* Maintain and improve plant equipment, including compressors, boilers, fire systems, lighting, and building infrastructure
* Ensure maintenance areas are kept clean, safe, and organized
* Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Carry out health and safety best practices
Qualifications & Requirements - Controls System Maintenance Engineer
* Time-served apprentice or equivalent qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (or recognized international equivalent)
* Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of PLC programming and robotic systems
* Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Excellent communication skills
* Calm, organized, and resilient under pressure
