Responsibilities
1. Manage the month-end timetable to facilitate a smooth closing process.
2. Ensure compliance with management and statutory reporting deadlines.
3. Perform monthly reviews for your assigned business units.
4. Participate actively in audit planning meetings to ensure a clean audit.
5. Promote cultural change and performance improvement across the finance function.
6. Develop financial processes, procedures, and controls to support growth plans.
7. Review and enhance finance processes and internal controls continuously.
8. Mentor and develop direct reports to support objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Proven experience in managing the closing of monthly management accounts.
2. Proficiency in SAP (preferred).
3. Line management experience.
4. A record of driving continual improvement and business transformation.
5. Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
6. Ability to build alliances, challenge, and influence positively without formal authority.
7. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification.
8. Strong IT skills, including Excel.
