The role will be primarily based at Harper Adams University's new hub situated in the heart of Telford, Shropshire. Harper Adams are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of highly skilled engineers to: Develop teaching in Mechatronic Engineering subjects to undergraduate, postgraduate, national and international students; Develop, expand and foster relationships with current and future industrial partners; Pursue a research path which complements our research centres, in particular our Agri-Tech Research Centre Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the engineering department, to fulfil a role that will involve engaging with the academic, personal and professional development of students. This will be achieved through the development and delivery of innovative learning programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role will also involve an active contribution to the development of relationships with
graduate employers and commercial partners. The University has a positive policy on staff development and the appointee will be encouraged to gain additional experience and/or qualifications relevant to the post.
This is a lecturing position demanding a responsive and committed approach to the role. The post may involve working outside of normal office hours and may require travelling within the UK and overseas. If not already a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, the appointee will be expected to become a Fellow of the HEA within three years of taking up the post.
