Overview
I am seeking a full‑time, long‑term role within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in a vibrant, inclusive two‑form‑entry primary school in Tower Hamlets. I aim to contribute to a nurturing, high‑quality early years environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
Strong EYFS Knowledge
1. Secure understanding of the EYFS Framework, Characteristics of Effective Learning, and child‑centred pedagogy.
2. Skilled at planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support progress across all prime and specific areas.
Collaborative Team Approach
3. Experienced working within a two‑form‑entry structure, collaborating closely with parallel class teachers to ensure consistency in planning, assessment, and provision.
4. Confident working alongside support staff, SEN teams, and external agencies.
High‑Quality Teaching & Learning
5. Ability to create a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and creativity.
6. Skilled in using observation, assessment, and next steps to inform planning and track progress.
Inclusive Practice
7. Committed to meeting the needs of all learners, including EAL, SEND, and disadvantaged pupils – highly relevant in the diverse community of Tower Hamlets.
8. Experience adapting provision to ensure every child can access learning and thrive.
Behaviour & Wellbeing
9. Warm, nurturing approach that supports children’s emotional regulation, social development, and sense of belonging.
10. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
