What You'll Do: As the Transport Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include: Fleet Management: Oversee and maintain the vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and conducting regular audits of maintenance schedules. Safety and Compliance: Support accident investigations and uphold health and safety standards throughout the transport operations. Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for motor insurance, and manage daily defect reports during holiday cover. Fuel Management: Order fuel and ensure all vehicles are properly licenced, registered, and insured. Scheduling: Efficiently manage vehicle scheduling for maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime. Reporting: Document incidents and accidents, and perform any other duties as required to support the team's success. What You Bring: To thrive in this role, you should have: A Full UK Driving Licence and a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage - International. A detailed understanding of relevant transport and health & safety legislation. Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office. Previous experience in Transport Management. Why Join Us?
