Main duties of the job This is an important senior HR professional who works autonomously providing expert HR knowledge, technical expertise and resource to support the implementation of change based projects across the People directorate, undertaking reviews of workforce processes with a view to making them outcome and customer focused. By its nature this role is that of a strategic change agent combined with a people manager where the post holder has to: Work as part of a small team of HR professionals and system experts working as Service Improvement change agents with an aim of improving Business process, implementing LEAN and other appropriate approaches across the suite of services HR delivers across NHSBT; They will be expected to lead on a wide range of change projects and to challenge the status quo in order to ensure that improvement of the People Services is at the forefront of the outcome Work with the People Directorate staff and operational managers across NHSBT to ensure that the Directorate s service maximises the efficiencies that improvement projects are designed to deliver. provides leadership and line management for a team of four systems experts and will work closely with the Workforce Planning and Insights Specialist. Liaise, work with and in collaboration (but not exclusively) with Assistant Directors, Heads of function across the whole of the People directorate and operational managers and their staff to deliver the key KPIs of the Insights and Improvement team. About You Experience and Knowledge Significant experience in a senior HR role, that is regional or national or leading on large and complex organisational change projects. Highly developed leadership skills that can motivate and lead a team to achieve required goals Up to date knowledge of employment law Ability to develop excellent relationships with workforce colleagues and to facilitate the effectiveness of the function Previous Service Improvement experience.
