Administration Assistant – Purchasing & Finance (6-month FTC)

Salary: Up to £24.5K plus benefits including 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus Bank holidays

Location: Leicester (hybrid working)

T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Administration Assistant - Purchasing & Finance for this leading company who have a centralised Finance team in Leicester. The business will support hybrid working with 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. This role is initially offered as a 6-month FTC.

In this role, as Administration Assistant - Purchasing & Finance, you will work as part of the Finance Shared Services team to ensure the accurate, complete and timely processing of purchase orders.

Main responsibilities in this Administration Assistant role will include: the office.

* Review and process requisitions into purchase orders on a timely, accurate and complete basis,

* Ensure Requisitions comply with minimum requirements, coded correctly and are in accordance with the Purchasing Policy

* Consolidation of Purchase orders in line with agreements with suppliers

* Approving online portal orders

* Liaising with procurement to log any Non-Conformance issues, including pricing, back orders and quality issues

* Monitor and respond to emails and messages

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

* Prior administration experience ideally in a fast paced environment

* Previous experience of working in a purchasing/ finance administration role (preferred but not essential)

* Good Microsoft office 365 knowledge with intermediate Excel skills

* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload

* High attention to detail with a methodical and focussed approach

* Well organised and able to multitask.

* Great communication skills – ability to liaise with internal team, suppliers, and customers confidently and politely.

* Team player – helping each other to achieve individual and company goals.
