GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic PE Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about physical education, student well-being, and promoting a love of sport across all ability levels.
Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver inclusive and engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons across Key Stages. You ll inspire pupils to participate in a wide range of physical activities and help them develop teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong interest in health and fitness.
Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
* Plan and deliver varied PE lessons tailored to different abilities and interests.
* Promote positive attitudes towards health, physical fitness, and sport.
* Prepare and support students for practical and written assessments.
* Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, fixtures, and events.
* Ensure the health and safety of all students during physical activity.
* Uphold school behaviour policies and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements for the PE Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* A degree in Physical Education or a relevant subject.
* Experience teaching PE in a UK school setting.
* Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* A passion for physical education and promoting student well-being.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
