We're currently recruiting dedicated and experienced Children and Young Persons Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people (up to age 18) with their mental health, emotional and behavioural needs. What You'll Do As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in shaping positive outcomes for children and young people: Provide individualised care and emotional support tailored to each young person's needs Build trusting, long-term relationships with children and their families Respond effectively to challenging behaviours, using calm and therapeutic approaches Work alongside other professionals to ensure the best possible care and outcomes Encourage and promote independence and confidence in everyday activities Follow care plans and contribute to their continuous improvement Support with appointments, education, and recreational activities Maintain accurate records and safeguard the wellbeing of every child in your care What We're Looking For A minimum of 6-12 months paid UK experience in a similar support role NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) Experience managing challenging behaviour A naturally caring, compassionate, and patient approach Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Flexible and reliable - able to commit to 12-hour shifts (days/nights), including weekends Full UK Driver's Licence (Preferred) Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) What We Offer You Competitive pay including enhanced weekend rates, £15.50 per hour to £31 per hour depending on shift Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Fully funded Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People Ongoing training and development opportunities Weekly pay A chance to be part of a team that genuinely cares Interested?
