Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative nurse leader with expertise in nursing education and development, to step into the role of Practice Development and Innovation Nurse within our Corporate Nursing Development Team. This position is key to driving the delivery of high quality nursing practice development and innovation with responsibility for leading and managing core elements of our Trust nursing education portfolio including; pre and post registration nurse education, the safe integration of internationally recruited nurses, and nursing preceptorship. The post-holder will also support the delivery of the Trust's nursing priorities through a variety of quality improvement and assurance projects.

Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and management of core elements of the Trust’s nursing education portfolio, including pre- and post-registration nurse education, and nursing preceptorship.
* Lead the safe integration of internationally recruited nurses into the nursing workforce.
* Drive high quality nursing practice development and innovation through quality improvement and assurance projects.
* Support delivery of the Trust’s nursing priorities across relevant teams and services.
* Demonstrate effective people and change management with clear communication across systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Solid clinical expertise and a working knowledge of the nursing education portfolio.
* Proven track record of effective people and change management.
* Excellent communication skills across systems and with multidisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to maintaining clinical visibility and credibility through active clinical practice.
* Positive, enthusiastic attitude with emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and resilience under pressure.
