KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity, and performance.
2. Comply with Health & Safety recommendations and standards set by Highlife Highland, and be familiar with the role and responsibilities of the post.
3. Regularly update yourself on all written operating procedures and follow them accordingly.
4. Organise and lead activities and classes within the programme as required by the Manager and Supervisor, supporting children’s activities and holiday play schemes.
5. Set out and take down equipment, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
6. Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and fittings as needed.
7. Perform general cleaning of all areas to a high standard.
8. Regularly check for cleanliness and safety, ensuring safe work methods are followed.
9. Provide first aid treatment if qualified and trained to do so.
10. Cover reception duties as required.
11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
12. Be familiar with the High Life membership scheme and actively promote its benefits.
13. Be friendly and helpful to users, upholding high customer care standards.
14. Work as part of a team and contribute to the development and promotion of the centre.
15. Attend training sessions to achieve and maintain relevant qualifications.
16. Identify and communicate any improvements that could increase the centre's effectiveness and efficiency.
17. Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Inverness Royal Academy and High Life Highland.
18. Attend and complete any required training, online or in person.
19. Strive to reduce wastage and uphold environmental sustainability in all tasks.
20. Support other areas of High Life Highland with projects, training, or cover during holidays or sickness, working cross-functionally within the Inverness Royal Academy team.
