Overview
2 x Full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) roles at Moseley Primary School:
1 x Full-time LSA – KS1 Full time (37 hours), term-time + inset days 39 weeks (8:30am - 3:30pm). To support a child with an EHCP in Key Stage 1: assisting learning in class, providing 1:1 or small group support, collaborating with teacher & SENCo.
1 x Full-time LSA – EYFS Full time (37 hours), term-time + inset days 39 weeks (8:30am - 3:30pm). To support two children with additional needs in Foundation Stage: helping with developmental, social & learning support, ensuring inclusion and adapting resources as required.
What We Need From You
* Has paid experience in a school setting, working with children who have additional / special educational needs.
* Is patient, calm, caring, and able to build trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.
* Has good communication skills and the ability to follow and adapt plans and strategies in collaboration with the teacher / SENCo.
* Is reliable, proactive, flexible, and committed to inclusion.
* Holds, ideally, relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent) or GCSEs or equivalents in English & Maths (or willing to work towards them, if required).
