Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we enable and enhance telecom networks, playing a lead role in delivering our tech-enabled future. We provide full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators.
Private networks: We find the best technology, manage assets, and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we ensure smooth functioning through comprehensive repair and maintenance.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining equipment at various sites including substations, converter stations, control centres, data centres, and customer locations. You will mentor Field Engineers, supporting their technical growth through guidance and training. Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards, performing circuit testing, and collaborating with engineering teams are key responsibilities. You will also conduct fault analysis, site surveys, audits, and act as Principal Contractor Site Representative when needed. Maintaining tools, vehicles, PPE, completing mandatory training, and reporting improvement opportunities are part of your duties. Advanced H&S knowledge (IOSH/NEBOSH) is preferred; training can be provided.
What you'll bring?
You will primarily work across projects in the South of England, with occasional travel to the Midlands or North, so a full UK driving license and flexibility are essential.
You should have hands-on experience with PDH, SDH, CWDM, DWDM, and telecoms equipment, along with strong fault-finding, configuration, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with FOX Mux, routers, switches, power systems, and schematic interpretation is highly desirable.
