Site Engineer – Wind Farm (Substation)
Location: InvernessDuration: 4–5 monthsHours: 8‑hour daysAccommodation: Provided
The Opportunity
We’re supporting a contractor who will shortly be starting the substation works on a major wind farm project, and they’re looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team for the duration of the package.
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical civils work and wants a steady run on a well‑organised renewable energy project.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Setting out for substation civils
*
QA, as‑builts and documentation
*
Supporting the Site Manager and wider team
*
Coordinating with civils subcontractors
*
Ensuring works are delivered safely and to spec
What You’ll Need
*
Experience as a Site Engineer on civils projects
*
CSCS card
*
Strong setting‑out and QA capability
*
Ability to work independently and within a small team
