Russell Taylor Group are working with a growing manufacturing organisation and are seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Optimise total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
* Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, fostering strong, ethical partnerships.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve favourable outcomes.
* Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide solutions.
* Maintain commercial confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
* Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
Candidate
* Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Competent with ERP systems and Excel.
* Knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft
