Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Engineer with experience in electrical systems maintenance, fault diagnosis and compliance oversight. Deliver work on time as per contract performance, Helpdesk, PPM and Remedial work orders, ability to work independantly and as part of a team
Complete installations by assisting the electrical tradesperson, carrying out wiring tasks, alignment adjustments, calibration of equipment following manufacturers/task instructions, drawings and diagrams.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment across the facility.
* Diagnose faults in electrical systems, implement effective solutions, and carry out repairs.
* Assist with upgrades, modifications, and installations of electrical equipment and control systems.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives for energy efficiency, system reliability, and safety.
What we are looking for:
* The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the defense sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th edition and 2391 test and inspect.
* Experience in Electrical Planned and reactive maintenance
* Experience in working in an FM team
* Strong customer care focus
* Health and Safety awareness and knowledge
* Full and Clean driving Licence
