Overview
We have an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Referral Unit Advisor to join our team. Based from home and working in an administrative capacity, you will work in the Referral Unit within the east Kent locality taking calls and emails from Acute Trusts, GPs and patients in the community. The role will be to process the referral and refer to the relevant team in a timely manner, focusing on the patient experience.
Patient engagement and quality of administration are paramount in this role. Patients are at the heart of what we want all of our team to share in that ethos.

Responsibilities
* Take calls and emails from Acute Trusts, GPs and patients in the community.
* Process referrals and refer to the relevant team in a timely manner.
* Support patient experience through high-quality administration and engagement.
Working pattern
* Referral unit runs 7 days a week.
* Hours: 5 x 7.5 hour days over a 7-day period (between 08:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays).
* 1 weekend in 4 and 1 late shift a week.
* Rota produced 3 months in advance with advance notice for shifts.
* Predominantly home-based, with regular attendance at Ashford office for team meetings.
* Additional pattern: 5 x 7.5 hours, 08:00–22:00, Mon–Sun (with bank holidays) and 1 weekend in 4 (days off in week when weekend worked).
* Additional pattern: Mon to Fri, 09:00–13:30.
