Commercial Operations Specialist - Remote - Permanent (full time or part time)

Job Description
1. Primary point of contact to facilitate collaboration between the Sales team and customers for product and logistical support.
2. Manages field stock, including reconciliation at the end of each month, quarter, and year.
3. Provides oversight of courier services and shipping logistics.
4. Manages in-bound order processing for designated regions.
5. Ensures consistent coverage for customer service inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
6. Facilitates the setup of new customers, including customer master data, billing, and shipping information.
7. Oversees sales order entry, invoicing, and resolution of returns issues.
8. Monitors open usage to ensure timely receipt of purchase orders.
9. Ensures month-end and quarter-end orders are processed.
10. Responds to inventory requests.
11. Assists in resolving order discrepancies that affect revenue recognition.
12. Utilises reporting tools.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Operations Specialist should have:
* Ideally a life sciences background.
* Previous sales support/commercial operations experience.
* Ability to work in a small team environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Knowledge of the life science industry.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
