Aquanauts Swimming school, based in central Hove are looking for level2 Swim Teachers. Aquanauts teach 4- 10 year old children either in 1:1 or 2:1 lessons during term times and in the school Holidays.

Friday 13:30 - 15:00 15:30 -19:30
(A Saturday position is available for the Autumn term)
Starting rate of Pay
£19.00per hour
The candidates will have full support with ongoing teacher training and swim lesson development and be involved in an innovative way of swim teaching
The candidate will be part of a small team which deliverers high quality tuition to children and must be confident to teach different abilities, encouraging young children from the age of years of age in 1:1 and 2:1 lessons
Responsibilities
* Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, adapting instruction to meet the needs of each participant.
* Assess students' swimming abilities and progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
* Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate water safety, stroke techniques, and personal fitness goals.
* Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, and recommendations for improvement.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction.
Skills
* Strong background in sports coaching, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Excellent teaching skills, capable of breaking down complex techniques into understandable components.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students of all ages.
* Patience and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
