Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in baking techniques and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all baked goods are of the highest quality. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a genuine love for food production and preparation. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of breads and other baked goods established recipes. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to throughout the baking process. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to maintain consistency in product quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in baking required. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating delicious baked goods that delight customers. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings or weekends as required. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7am.
