Role
The successful candidate will work together with the IT Administrator to support company staff with technical IT problems, as well as front-line and on-site support to third-parties for Sentinor’s specialist systems and applications. The role will also involve assisting with interesting research and development projects, and development of Windows software applications and SQL databases.
This role will appeal to people who enjoy problem solving, as well as development, testing and supporting a range of innovative technologies and products. During quieter times, the successful candidate is expected to be proactive in developing their own technical knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
T&Cs
• Pay depends on experience and qualifications.
• Full time, permanent (40hrs per week).
• 23 days leave (+8 days Public Holiday).
• Reporting to IT Administrator.
Key Role
IT
• Provide remote IT support for Sentinor engineers.
• Provide remote and on-site support to third parties for Sentinors specialist applications and systems.
• Assist with general IT administration tasks such as software patching and installation of new hardware.
R&D
• Assist with research and development projects.
• Develop new and existing C# applications and SQL databases.

• Undertake additional related duties required by the business.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent in IT or related subject.
• Well rounded knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Some experience in software development and object oriented programming. C# or equivalent.
• Some experience with SQL databases.
• Driving license.
Nice to Have
• Experience with the Adobe suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• An interest in software development, electronics and IoT applications.
