Job Specification ICT & Procurement Support Officer Role Purpose The ICT Infrastructure & Communications Support Officer will support the Navy Digital in delivering and maintaining vital ICT services across the Naval estate. This role assists senior engineers and programme teams with the upkeep, improvement, and basic administration of telephony, Wi‑Fi, communications, and ICT infrastructure systems that enable essential Royal Navy operations. The post holder will help ensure that ICT services remain safe, compliant, and reliable while gaining experience in MOD digital standards, ICT service delivery processes, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities ICT Service Support - Support senior technical staff with the maintenance and administration of ICT systems, including telephony, Wi‑Fi, cabinets, and fixed infrastructure. - Assist with routine updates, minor changes, and service adjustments as directed. - Help maintain documentation, asset records, and configuration information. - Monitor service requests and escalate issues appropriately.
