Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Gillingham
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, Part-time

Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with a child with ASD, ADHD, Non-Verbal needs, or other high-needs conditions within a SEN school environment. Your role will be to help them achieve their goals and create a nurturing, supportive environment that promotes independence and confidence.

2. Experienced in supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal needs?

Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
1. Provide 1-1 support to children with SEN in their learning and development within a SEN classroom.
2. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
3. Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create individualised learning plans.
4. Support a child with high needs and help them reach their academic and personal goals.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour and Non-Verbal needs.
2. A nurturing and patient approach to working with children.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and staff.
4. DBS check required (We can assist with this).
