We are currently undergoing a digital transformation project to modernise systems, processes and embrace new technologies. The Accounts team will play an integral part in ensure the success of the project.
️About the Role
Accounts Management: Maintain accurate and timely records of financial transactions using our Dealer Management Software (IBCOS GOLD).
Day to Day Transactional Posting: Posting Purchase Invoices and Reconciling Supplier Statements in a timely manner. Processing Customer Payments and Invoice Matching.
Bank Reconciliations: Using our Dealer Management Software to complete Bank Reconciliations.
Credit Control: Chasing outstanding customer payments and taking payment over the phone.
Regulatory Compliance: Processing quarterly VAT returns and PAYE payments.
Month End: Ensuring a timely and accurate close to the month end ledgers.
Customer & Supplier Relationships: Being a key point of contact for dealing with Customer and Supplier Enquiries.
Championing Digital: Working closely with the Finance & Strategy Director to implement Technology which will improve accounting processes.
What we are looking for:
Experienced Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years experience, who is looking to take the next step in their careers and help shape the future of the finance team.
Highly Focused and Detailed Orientated person who will be able to work with little supervision and a track record of managing a small finance time to meet strict deadlines.
Extremely Organised individual with the ability to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
Professionally Qualified or Qualified by Experience would be preferred or willing to work towards professional qualifications.
Month End Process understanding and experience is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly in Excel.
