* Proactive problem‑solving skills to analyse and resolve complex issues
* Good written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex information sensitively and in formal minutes and/or reports
* The ability to review, interpret and apply regulations, policies and processes using sound judgement and innovative thinking

* Recent experience of academic quality assurance in a higher education (or similar) environment
* To line manage the Quality and Standards Officer(s) and/or Academic Regulations Administrator(s)
A degree and/or substantial previous experience of relevant work within a large complex organisation is essential, as is sufficient expert knowledge of quality assurance to be able to offer advice and guidance to colleagues.
This is a 12 month, fixed term contract (37.0 hours per week) with a 1st September start date and we welcome applications from candidates looking to job share. Monday‑Friday with some remote working permitted.
