Role Overview
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of driving revenue growth and leading the sales team to exceed targets. You’ll collaborate proactively with marketing to generate pipeline, execute new ideas, and ensure the Uptime brand is highly visible across the MSP industry. Your role will be key in building lasting client relationships, identifying market trends, and being an engaging presence at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, inspire, and manage the sales team to achieve/break revenue targets
· Work closely with marketing to drive pipeline generation and campaign strategies
· Develop and implement new ideas for business development and client acquisition
· Attend MSP and technology industry events (approx. 6 per year) to become a recognized leading figure for Uptime
· Build strong relationships within the MSP sector to expand Uptime’s reach and reputation
· Support team development and collaboration for continuous performance improvement
Required Skills & Experience
· A proven track record in a successful sales role (team leadership experience advantageous but not essential)
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
· Able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a results-driven environment
· Experience in working in complex larger deals that require bespoke or custom requirements
Preferred Skills
· Familiarity with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market and channel-driven business models
· Established presence or network in the MSP or technology sector
Location & Working Arrangements
Remote-first role
Occasional travel to company sites (Crawley/Portsmouth)
Event attendance required (approx. 6 times/year, UK-wide or international as needed)
