CAM Programmer – 6‑Month Contract

The Role
We're looking for a practical, technically minded CAM Programmer to join a busy manufacturing team on a 6‑month contract. Full training is provided, so if you've got a mechanical mindset, are comfortable with computers, and want to develop specialist programming skills, this is a strong opportunity.
What You’ll Work On
* Robotic welding
* CNC tube bending
* CNC routing/drilling machines
* Automated glueing systems
* Wall saws
* Laminate presses
What You’ll Be Doing
* Creating and improving CAM programs from drawings and 3D models
* Testing and validating new or updated programs
* Supporting production and troubleshooting issues
* Working closely with engineering and shopfloor teams
* Keeping programs and documentation up to date
What We’re Looking For
* Good mechanical understanding and interest in automation
* Basic IT skills and willingness to learn CAM software
* Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
* Manufacturing, CNC, or CAD/CAM experience is a bonus, not essential
Training Provided
You’ll receive hands‑on training in CAM software, robot programming, CNC setup, and safety best practice.
A great chance to build in‑demand skills in a modern manufacturing environment without needing prior CAM experience.
