We’re looking for
a talented HR & Payroll Admin to join us on a full-time, permanent basis based at our Leicester site.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £25,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with colleagues, all site functions, and service providers, establishing professional credibility
2. Provide a dedicated HR and Payroll advisory service in relation to payroll queries, absence, restricted duties, conduct and capability, grievance matters, recruitment, employee engagement, organisational change and employee/industrial relations matters
3. Take the lead on the management of absence, including making recommendations, giving advice/coaching and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, supporting with AMP/health review meetings, and other absence related meetings
4. Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all individuals within the HR & Payroll Team.
5. Prepare regular and ad hoc management information reports, as agreed, to support continuous improvement.
6. Assist in the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice, to enhance knowledge and skills across the site
What you need to succeed at XPO:
7. Experience of working in an HR and Payroll environment, preferably in logistics, undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with and advising line managers on employee relations issues and dealing with payroll related issues
8. Able to interpret and implement HR Policy and procedures
9. Ideally 1 years experience within HR and Payroll
10. Support to gain CIPD qualification
