Join the paw-some team at Rudie's Kitchen, part of Butternut Box, where we cook up tails of success and wagging tails. We are looking for hard-working dog lovers (and animals) to join our manufacturing team in Blyth, Doncaster. This is a full-time permanent contract with a rolling average of 41 hours per week on a shift rotation (days/nights and some weekends).

Role title
Skilled Operator (also known as Machine Operator / Machine Technician / Manufacturing Technician within us, based in a food manufacturing environment).
Location
Blyth, Doncaster (just off the junction of A1(M) and A614 Hill Top Roundabout, Blyth S81 8HG).
Responsibilities
* Work safely by following all safety procedures and wearing protective equipment correctly at all times.
* Drive line performance and diagnose any operational issues on the production lines.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications are met.
* Perform machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers.
* Prepare ingredients for production and mix recipes.
* Operate production line equipment to the agreed settings.
* Carry out general tasks such as waste processing and order packing.
* Work to relevant standards and KPIs.
* Attend daily reviews and participate in online performance reviews.
* Maintain general facility hygiene and practice clean-as-you-go.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous machine operative experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery.
* Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
* Working level English (speaking and reading) and numeracy skills.
* Comfortable working in a chilled environment and in a setting that processes raw proteins (lamb, pork, turkey, chicken).
* Committed to food quality and being a supportive, helpful team member.
* Ability to work a shift rotation (days 7am–7pm, nights 7pm–7am) and weekend work.
