Internal Account Manager Location: Ascot (Office-based, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30) Salary: £28,000–£35,000 excellent benefits The Company Our client is a leading IT hardware manufacturer and is looking to add a Internal Sales Executive to their growing team. The Role In this position, you’ll be responsible for generating business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and running targeted outbound prospecting campaigns. You’ll work closely with both Sales and Marketing teams to develop strong Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and ensure a smooth handover to the wider Sales function. This role would suit someone with a strong sales mindset and customer focus, whether your background is in sales, account management, customer service, or sales operations. Key Responsibilities * Identifying and engaging customers via phone, email, social media, networking, and referrals * Responding promptly to inbound enquiries and nurturing warm leads * Understanding customer challenges across multiple market segments * Qualifying prospects and handing over sales-ready leads (MQLs) * Maintaining accurate CRM records (MS Dynamics experience beneficial) * Supporting trade shows, events, and wider marketing initiatives * Collaborating with colleagues and contributing ideas to drive team success Experience & Skills * Experience in sales development, customer service, or account management (B2B preferred) * Strong communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face * Highly organised with strong attention to detail * Proactive, resilient, and adaptable with a growth mindset * Understanding of longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision-making is advantageous * Knowledge of GDPR and good data management practices
