Job Title: School Caretaker Location: Enfield Salary: £15-£18 Contract: full-time Start Date:ASAP Interview Date: Asap About the Role: Complete classroom services are seeking to appoint a hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic Site Manager to join our dedicated team. This is a key role within the school and ideal for a self-motivated and reliable individual with a can-do attitude who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Include: * Overseeing the security, safety, and cleanliness of the school site * Carrying out regular maintenance and minor repair work * Managing contractors on site and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard * Inspecting the school site and premises, on a regular basis, to identify the need for repairs or improvements; undertaking these and referring matters to the Head of School for remedial action to be taken where appropriate. * Opening and locking up the site, including early mornings and occasional evenings * Carrying out regular inspections, testing and servicing of ancillary equipment, e.g. fire alarm systems, to ensure that they are in an operational condition, referring matters to the Head of School for remedial action to be taken where appropriate. * Responding promptly to emergencies such as leaks, break-ins, or fire alarms * Supporting school events with site set-up and logistics The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. caretaker, facilities or site manager) * Practical maintenance skills (basic plumbing, decorating, minor repairs) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * High standards of professionalism and personal integrity * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children * Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving What the school offers: * A supportive and friendly working environment * Opportunities for training and professional development * A school community that values the role of Site Manager * A varied and rewarding role with a high level of responsibility and autonomy How to Apply: Please submit your updated CV if interested in the role
