Job Title: Senior IT Application Owner

The ITAO (IT Application Owner) will be responsible for to assist with incorporating the adopted approach into best practice and to improve the infrastructure ensuring compliance with technical roadmap, to improve safety and security of the application, compliance while delivering change into production. In this Role you will be enhancing the ITAO function for the Event Management Suite of applications in adherence with the bank’s ITAO Standards.
You will work as ITAO for Automation platforms in DB, focusing on operational maintenance automation, technology operations automation, and workload automation. You will also support availability, event, performance, and capacity management across the Bank’s infrastructure and application estates.

Your key responsibilities
* Serve as the local subject matter expert for automation applications, act as the SPOC, and interact with third-party vendors, local, and global teams. Contribute to implementation and maintenance throughout the project and software development lifecycle.
* Possess sound IT risk management skills and follow various service delivery approaches, acknowledging the interface with the application’s lifecycle.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to address current infrastructure gaps and industry innovations, improving the infrastructure.
* Understand development methodologies and IT policies necessary for effective performance within the organization, aligned with the bank’s risk appetite.
* Participate in TM planning/Scrum meetings, gather tasks before Quarterly Reviews, set priorities by working closely with the Scrum Master, and support audit functions in reducing risk, maintaining compliance documentation.
* Manage and maintain applications ensuring compliance with IT policies, deliver application releases and defect fixes, assist and oversee junior team members, and handle various enterprise IT governance and management activities.
Your skills and experience
* IT experience with expertise in system design, development, implementation, user support, and project management knowledge.
* Proficient in application architectures and software interfaces, along with a solid understanding of IT risk, controls, and security.
* Demonstrates high performance and productivity focus, leading teams effectively towards delivery.
* Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative abilities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach.
* Highly efficient, organized, and detail-oriented in managing tasks.
